Identity Module

I'm a QA professional with an interdisciplinary background in UX/UI Design, giving me a perspective that bridges technical quality with user-centered thinking.
Early in my games QA career I became fascinated by how players interact with interfaces and that sparked my interest in UX & UI Design. As I progressed through different teams, from WildStar to NCSOFT Web & Platform, I began to self-study design principles in my free time. I crafted several designs and websites along the way learning design frameworks and best practices, while honing my practical design skills. That experience helped build a strong foundation in user-centered design, which I've continued to develop through Figma prototypes and freelance web design projects (timandspace.com).
That learning complimented my work in QA. I was able to apply design thinking while testing NCSOFT's platform services including account management, login authentication, purchasing, and also game websites through identifying usability issues, providing actionable feedback, and always considering the end user's experience. One example of this interdisciplinary perspective is using flowcharts to communicate bugs, provide feedback, and document systems and processes.
Together, QA taught me that every detail matters, while UX/UI Design gave me the frameworks in order to create experiences that are clear, intuitive, and accessible.
With so many things competing for your attention, I'm grateful you've taken the time to explore my work.
